Imagine your f/o noticing how how you truly feel about yourself. The thought that the person they love so dearly doesn't like themselves is so baffling and painful for them that they know they can't let it go on.

They start to go out of their way to praise you in little ways everyday. Whether it's telling you how good you are at things like cooking, art, writing or whatever you might enjoy doing, complimenting your appearance ((regardless of if you're wearing a fancy outfit or just in your pajamas, you're always beautiful to them)) or just encouragement for something small like getting out of bed.

There are always days when it helps more than others, and days when the dark part of your brain is louder. You're afraid that your f/o will get tired of constantly reassuring you.

But they never do, even during the harder days when nothing seems to make the bad thoughts about yourself go away, your f/o is still there for you to help however they can, to tell you they love you, hug you if you need it and lend you a shoulder to cry on.
