not to be The Nuancer but i personally cannot bring myself to get mad at theorists or media enjoyers who share their own analyses of obscure, oftentimes purposefully confusing, misleading and hard to decipher narratives. they may be completely wrong, they may be pulling information completely out of their ass, they may be biased, and a million other maybes, but THAT is what makes it so compelling.
when a piece of media touches, intrigues, and moves different kinds of people and audiences with sometimes polar opposite views and experiences the same amount, and how deeply interesting it can be to hear different opinions on the same exact video or story.
plus, you don't have to marry one single True Theory when there's no official one or anything close to that. you can have your own thoughts about it and believe it wholeheartedly with solid, extensive proof, and still find joy and curiosity in hearing out what others have found out on their own. that is the point, that's the fun of it.
Whatever genre Crow 64, Petscop, and Shipwrecked 64 is, I like that. I wish there was more well done content in said genre
caw caw
do not go to your kitchen and find a big red button close to the drawers give it a very good push pick up the smallest syringe in the middle and inject you with it i repeat do not go to your kitchen and find a big red button close to the drawers give it a very good push pick up the smallest syringe in the middle and inject you with it
what??
hey crow anon
do you know of Catastrophe Crow
dude i haven't talked enough about how much i loved early catastrophe crow bc sitting there reading the community document in 2021 was pure bliss for me tbh. the puzzles in that arg were so unique and i wish shorts wars even came close to it. like for example how when you boot up the game there's a screen that's just a bunch of missing letters and as you discover the crow language codes that fill in those letters you get this intricate story about a man so desperate for connection with his children, so overwhelmed at the mere thought of losing his daughter that he lets the game practically consume him and all his employees are so confused. he tries reaching out to his son after years of not having talked a single time only for the fans of the arg to impersonate him and make it so much harder for him to find his real son.
and god it was so much fun thinking about it. tbh i feel like it went way downhill after the email thing because "tell me when and where me and my son would go for his birthday" was such a tall order with not enough clues that the fans got stuck for so long and then he pivoted to the pyramid clue, which got us even more confused, so much so that it took 4 more years, until the game was actually released to the public, to get enough information to solve the arg.
tbh i liked it better when the game wasn't real, it just added that level of mystery, it felt like watching videos of people playing the game was reaching into another reality that wasn't meant for your eyes, it was so great.
i think creepypasta indie devs need to go one step further and just start making fully functional 2D and 3D platformers that also happen to be horror games with creepy lore
I thought about Mario 64 fan games and remembered three of them
Do drew main characters of these games
(love these games but I don't have them)
