I heard today is national girlfriend day
So because that’s today I have a lot to say about my girlfriend.
When she came into my life I was going through probably the worst depression I had ever experienced. At the time we were just friends. I was married with a child. As the days went on, I realized that she was going to be a really good friend. She could make me laugh when nobody else could. She could make me smile just by being around. My home life at the time was hectic. My marriage was falling apart slowly. It seemed like I would never be happy. We started dating on December 9th 2014. My marriage was called off on December 29th. That day was probably the worst day of my life. I didn’t know what to do but my girlfriend promised that we would take it one day at a time like we always had. That’s just one of the reasons why she’s so amazing.
She compliments me in ways that I never thought were possible. If I had to label our relationship I would call it raw. We are honest, we are confident in each other, and we just know when to give each other space. I can’t wait to see where we go in the future. She is beautiful, she is smart, and she has a laugh that always makes me smile no matter what. I loved being able to see her and hold her in person. I loved being able to wake up and see her next to me. It was more than anything I could ask for at the time. I love the way she fell in love with our son. I got to watch fireworks with her and that was probably the best moment of my year. I love her smile.
All of the times we spend laughing and crying over skype and playing games together I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
I would give her the universe and even more than that if it’s possible. I want to spend the rest of my life with this amazing person. I love you, Adrien.
I love you so very much.
Yours always and forever,
Finnick
