A Date Over Due
Your whole face hurts from the wide, delighted grin that is plastered on your face, but you cannot stop smiling seeing your kismesis in that well-fitted tux and his fustrated expression tunneled towards you. The suit may not be Quajea’s usual wear but you have thought about Quajea in a suit, and what you are seeing does not disappoint at all. The change is refreshing. The sleek suit has refined the country jock to a cinema star, especially with his long, stylised hair glowing halo from the warm spot lights adove.
“Quajea, you should see yourself in the mirror. You could stop any pump biscuit looking like that.” You coo at him with a sly grin. “Even if it is only for one night, I think your suit is well worth the price. Though, I would appreciate if you keep the suit in one piece. You might even find a use for it later in the future.”
“But for now, please keep it on.” You pull out your palmhusk to look at the time. “You already know that I have reserved a spot for us at a restaurant. It will be well worth the wait, I promise.” As you try to sell the restaurant to Quajea again, you take a couple of pictures. “The restaurant specializes in East Alternian cuisine, and those folks in the east really knows their way around vegetarian dishes. Fresh, oven toasted veges; creamy vegetable soup; flat breads that you can layer on sauces and vegetables. They even have a wide range of salads and all sorts of wraps.”
The food is really the only real reason why Quajea even agreed to leave his wooden cabin on quadrant night in the first place. You were able to sold the idea on the date night long ago to Quaie and ensure a schedule and plan for a grand date with your blacken. You told him that tonight will be stress-free and romantic; you never told him about the suit he. That is the surprise and everything is going to plan.
You make a small talk with the tailor who is always so busy with his work. You compliment on the shape of suit and how well the suit fits your kismesis with the measurements you gave the tailor and only need slight adjustment to fit Quajea perfectly. Near the end of your conversation, you eye at the lovely rayon tie on a counter near by. The tie shimmers red that gradually gradients to a maroon brown.
