Day 3... Quality teaching = Quality learning
There are many stages in our lives but it’s not about this, but about how we live them, feeling stable, content, joyful and productive.
These days we are stuck in a system which is controlled by the government, your school, or your district all because they think they know what education should be like, which usually focuses on book based or rote learning.
Teachers play a very important role in the upcoming changes within the education system. Even though teachers have been given a curriculum to follow that does not mean that we need to do it in a specific way. Therefore we can start evolving, making little changes here and there within the classroom and even the school. The way to do this, is to focus on having a Quality Teaching Model, which is based on a quality learning environment, the students’ intellectual quality and how important all of this is to them. If we are truly prepared as teachers for this century, then we will certainly be able to generate the best we can for our students
Our constant thought should be to “teach and make a difference”, because it certainly can be done.
