QuantrolOx Launch VIDYAQAR open quantum research platform
QuantrolOx introduces VIDYAQAR, the first open-architecture quantum platform.
Integrated Superconducting System accelerates quantum research and development worldwide.
QuantrolOx introduced VIDYAQAR, the first True Open-Architecture Quantum Platform. The superconducting quantum system is ideal for testing, benchmarking, research, and education in quantum, a rapidly growing discipline. India launched VIDYAQAR, a networked system to increase access to cutting-edge quantum technology and encourage quantum ecosystem innovation.
The name VIDYAQAR comes from the Sanskrit term Vidyākar, meaning “causing wisdom” or “giving knowledge or science,” reflecting the platform's main objective of expanding quantum access. Open-architecture quantum computer designed and operationalised in Delft by QuantrolOx underpins the system.
Real Open Architecture Allows Customisation and Collaboration
VIDYAQAR's open design lets quantum computing startups start research right away. Most importantly, the platform is fully customisable, offering users flexibility and transparency. This architecture helps build quantum software, control, and hardware concepts quickly.
QuantrolOx wants to fill a quantum ecosystem gap with a shared testbed. Hardware, software, and innovative control methods can be prototyped, validated, and benchmarked here. The platform also helps create vital standards, improves interoperability, and fosters domestic competency, which helps create a scalable quantum system network. The system's modular scalability allows upgrades from a single unit to a centrally managed network of systems, allowing large institutional or national quantum programs.
Main Integrated Parts
VIDYAQAR integrates all quantum research components in one integrated system. Four fundamental elements are smoothly integrated into the superconducting quantum system:
Cryogenics.
Manage electronics.
Quantum Processor.
Integrated Quantum EDGE software.
This combination provides a complete, extensible infrastructure for businesses.
Faster Development Cycles using Quantum EDGE QuantrolOx's "Quantum EDGE," a next-generation automation and measurement technology, powers the platform to speed quantum research and development. Quantum EDGE simplifies quantum technology with industry-leading measurement and automation through an intuitive interface. Quantum EDGE was developed and tested in real quantum settings using numerous Quantum Processing Units (QPUs), proving its reliability.
Automation is Quantum EDGE's key benefit, shortening the development period. A two-qubit gate can be automatically characterised and configured in less than 25 minutes using the software stack. PhD-level professionals used to spend days physically labouring on this crucial activity. Developers may now complete hundreds of rounds every year, which speeds up qubit performance advancements needed for fault-tolerant quantum computers.
Workforce Development and Global Access
VIDYAQAR prioritises personnel development, making it ideal for training. The platform includes the Quantum EDGE Academy, a comprehensive superconducting quantum hardware training curriculum. A Python Software Development Kit (SDK) allows researchers and institutions to create customised experiments and workflows for deep control.
The platform targets universities, R&D labs, national research centres, and first-time quantum adopters.
After debuting in India, VIDYAQAR will launch globally in the first half of 2026. Contact QuantrolOx at [email protected] to learn more about the platform's potential.
