I live in Dublin for almost 2 years now and I felt it would be a good time to do some maps about this city. So I discovered an absolutely amazing dataset of 2016 Census by Small Areas (and by small they really mean small, it can be just one street). 

This is a selection of the most-interesting demographic characteristics of Dublin population.

A week difference and many hours in front of the PC learning QGIS on my own, without any book or YouTube tutorial. I am very, very proud of myself and I am also a bit sorry that we never had a professor to teach us these things... But at least I can do it on my own.

Major Polish cities are workplaces of many people living outside them - both in the suburbs and in the countryside. Graphic here shows commuter-to-noncommuter ratio in metropolitan areas of the largest Polish cities. Commuter is a person who commutes to the major city from another commune while noncommuters are people who work in their commune.

GIS people!!!

I am a novice and am only doing this to pass a module BUT…how would I define these points as different groups in QGIS?

For some reason they have been plotted as one colour when there are groups A-G that I need to be different colours. 

Please help!!
