The water statues in Altin went out of control when Mercury Lighthouse was lit, and the serpent at Gaia Rock when Venus was lit. Somehow he never noticed there was ocean all around Mercury Lighthouse, even when he was standing at the top of it.

The others tease him about that every time they visit Imil.

Yallam was originally an Exathi town, like Passaj and Ayuthay. They’ve been doing a lot better since Alchemy returned.

The fountain at the bottom of Mercury Lighthouse is there to drain off excess power so that it doesn’t cause natural disasters like Venus did. Without the fountain, Angara would have had some seriously nasty flooding and blizzards after the lighthouse was lit. The whole “heals anything” thing is just a handy side-effect.

The reason stuff like Apples or Lucky Peppers are so well hidden is because otherwise mice get at them. That leads to... incidents.

Whenever anyone from Felix's group asks Isaac, Ivan or Mia what happened to the ship Babi gave them, they just glare in Garet's direction. Thirty years later in Dark Dawn they still won't talk about it.
