It makes much more sense now, “we’ve been turning living rooms into life rooms!” @jonmcreynolds lyrics always seem to tell the story of our lives. While in quarantine, church (the gathering) as we know it isn’t the same and perhaps never will be. In the meantime, our living rooms bedrooms and other rooms into makeshift sanctuaries. This week in a random conversation, I was reminded of the one thing I’ve never accomplished. I was sad (I really was because it doesn’t look like it’ll happen). Today I’m going to talk about my path. I am coming to grips with the fact that what I wanted to do and what I am doing are two totally different things. Surprisingly, they’re not in conflict with each other, but each idea has worked together. Simply put, we have ideas and plans for our lives but the Lord does, also.
