Just another quarantine day.

It’s another ordinary new normal day. Clean the house over and over, work a bit, lie down, get coffee, feed the dogs, play with kids.

Been exploring DIY stuff over the internet and all I managed to get done was a few organizers here and there, some sewing and repairing and cutting my own hair.

Good news was one of my oldest friends has been cleared out of COVID-19. After a month in a poorly facilitated quarantine, he is already tested negative. Him and his wife was both positive and he couldn’t leave the facility without her but he might need to in a few days.

Imagine how much this affects our daily lives. Our productivity is lessened, mobility limited, kids couldn’t even play outside with their friends. My youngest learned how to walk inside our house and couldn’t even run in a park. He can now climb a chair!!!

Please stay at home. Please pray for everyone’s healing. Please follow protocols not just to avoid getting caught but to prevent yourself from getting sick.

App Review

It’s quarantine, there’s no work, we’re stuck at home and as much as possible we want to make the most of our time right? So earlier in this blog I wrote about how I was looking for online jobs. I came across this app in my ads where you can earn money just by playing a game. You can cashout your money through Paypal, so I figured, why not, right? The name of the Game/App is Wizard of Word. It’s totally free! It has 4.7 Stars on the App store also. I went ahead and downloaded the app and played it. I honestly really enjoyed the game! I earned about $10 in just 10-20 minutes of playing this game! But here’s the catch, you can only withdraw the money when you at a minimum of $50 dollars. That didn’t stop me though, I mean, hello? I was just 10-20 minutes in this game, I already got $10? I was stoked! 

It’s my second day of playing this game, and here’s what I can say. I do NOT recommend this app AT ALL. The game Wizard of Word is only good in the beginning. Here’s why:

1. Once you’ve used up all of your lives/energy, good luck! I hope you have really long patience! Your “life/energy” only autofills when you’re on the app. For example, you want to continue to the next level, but you run out of lives and you have to wait 10 minutes to get another life, for apps like Candy Crush or the like, you can play another game while waiting to regain lives again to play. In this app, you can’t leave or turn your phone off because the timer for the lives PAUSES! Let’s say, you played the game and there’s 09:45 minutes left before you get 1 life, you leave the app exactly 09:45 and you come back the following morning, open the app and you’re expecting full lives/energy but guess what!! It’s 0 lives/energy with 09:45 minutes waiting time. IT DOES NOT AUTOFILL WHEN YOU’RE NOT USING THE APP!

2. Also, I’m already $16 in the game, to be able to withdraw the money, you need to reach $50, right? I was about to get 3 more dollars but all of a sudden, there was a bug and the app didn’t give me my $3!! 

3. If you notice, there’s a “notification” on the top that says “Lucas has cashed out $50 successfully.” That’s a fake. There area total of 10 names and it just loops. I can enumerate the names, it loops from: 

Ryan > Andrew > Christian > Hunter > Angel > Abigaill > Isaiah > Lucas > Jessica > Hayden and then back to Ryan.

So, it’s not exactly a “notification” that someone cashed out successfully. Scam? Ha ha ha.

4. Lastly, every time you get to an ad for you to be able to get dollars, the ad/video pauses every 8 seconds! It pauses the first time, and you think that there’s a bug? and the ad doesn’t play so you instead skip the ad and you don’t get the money. This ad happens ALL THE TIME! 

In conclusion, I do NOT recommend this app. But if you do have the patience to tolerate these kinds of stuff then go for it, why not right? You won’t really lose anything (except time though).
