Just another quarantine day.
It’s another ordinary new normal day. Clean the house over and over, work a bit, lie down, get coffee, feed the dogs, play with kids.
Been exploring DIY stuff over the internet and all I managed to get done was a few organizers here and there, some sewing and repairing and cutting my own hair.
Good news was one of my oldest friends has been cleared out of COVID-19. After a month in a poorly facilitated quarantine, he is already tested negative. Him and his wife was both positive and he couldn’t leave the facility without her but he might need to in a few days.
Imagine how much this affects our daily lives. Our productivity is lessened, mobility limited, kids couldn’t even play outside with their friends. My youngest learned how to walk inside our house and couldn’t even run in a park. He can now climb a chair!!!
Please stay at home. Please pray for everyone’s healing. Please follow protocols not just to avoid getting caught but to prevent yourself from getting sick.
In times like these I miss having animal companions. I miss Jesse bird and the joy of dancing, singing, and playing with her. I miss the cat I once lived with that would curl up on my lap while I meditated. Most off all I miss my childhood dog. She was my best friend and sister for 18 wonderful years. I am grateful to all the people and the safe space I have found during this time, dont get me wrong. Still, nothing compares to the unconditional love of an animal companion in lonley times... #quarantine #quarantinerants #animalcompanions #missyou (at Magnolia, Texas) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-clPU_DXrt/?igshid=o3stlijif7pv
