Stop talking - Jotaro x reader (part 1)
It had been weeks since she last heard from him. No phone call, no letters, not a single word from him. It was like he'd just fallen off the face of the Earth, never to be seen again.
After a fortnight, it had gotten to be too much. He'd gone off to university and abandoned her, just as everyone told her he would. Why was she ever so stupid as to trust him?
Jotaro Kujo; infamous delinquent. And she was his naive young wife. They'd been married since he came back from Egypt, having asked her parents permission. They were wed as soon as they were both eighteen and lived a year of bliss together.
Then he went to university
After a month without any word from him, she'd changed the locks, changed her number and taken off the ring he gave her, leaving it on the windowsill for him to see if he ever decided to come home.
Take that, bastard. That's what you get for abandoning me.
He'd had his grandpa Joseph buy them the house, and pay for the wedding, so she had very little to worry about other than essential bills and groceries. He'd done something good, at least, before he ran away.

"We knew he wasn't good for you, Y/n." Fumiko sighed as she spoke with her dear friend. "He was always such a dick to everyone around him. I don't know what you saw in him."
"Yeah! He just swore and misbehaved all the time. What a loser!"
Y/n sighed, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear. "I don't know either... there was just something about him... a gentleness... an understanding, I suppose." She shrugged. "I can't put my finger on it."
"Well, he left, and you're still here, and I bet you've got guys lined up to make you feel all better, Y/n~!"
"Oh, I don't know... I don't think I'm quite ready to move on from him yet."
"You haven't worn your ring for a month now, come on! You don't have to be the dutiful wife anymore. You think he's wearing his ring, right now?"
She looked down into her tea. "Maybe you're right... Maybe I should get back into the world... God, I shouldn't have ever married him so young... he was just... so good. He came back from Egypt a new man, you know? He was so loving... so kind. When he asked me to marry him I just... leapt for joy."
"Well, you don't owe him anything, Y/n! Jotaro abandoned you for university, then ignores you for ages? You owe him nothing! Not a word, nothing! You should just serve his ass with divorce papers and move on."
The girl sighed, gazing at the windowsill where her wedding ring rested. "Maybe."
~~~
The papers had been mailed three days ago, and now she was readying herself to get back on the scene. She was getting dressed up nice for work, with makeup, hair-styling and pretty clothes and shoes. She wanted to attract attention. She wanted a new man.
Take that, Jotaro Kujo. She even stopped using Kujo as her last name. She was back to her maiden name: Y/N L/N.
She'd just finished her preening when she heard it. The knocking on the door. It was faint and quick at first, but soon it escalated into banging like someone was punching the door.
"I'm coming!" She yelled. "Stop hitting my door!" She demanded, before heading downstairs and opened the door. "What's the big idea-?" She flinched, looking up at who was waiting on her doorstep.
He'd changed his colour scheme, no longer wearing dark colours and instead wearing white and gold, but the green fire of his eyes was the same as it always was, burning into her own as he glared down at her, taking in her appearance. "You change the locks, change your number, and then send me divorce papers? Who is he? Who are you leaving me for?" The things we did last summer. I’ll remember. And cherish.
😗
A new patch I'm working on. Its turning out better than I expected!
Σας συμβαίνει και εσάς να έχετε τόσα πολλά πράγματα που θέλετε να κάνετε και από το άγχος του να κάνετε αυτά ακριβώς τα πράγματα καταλήγετε να κάθεστε στο κρεβάτι, να μην κάνετε τίποτα και να παθαίνεται ένα μίνι existential crisis
This season has been kind to say the least....
Even though we are in a valley, for the past few years my city has been experiencing horrible summers due to pollution and climate change.
But this year, due to lockdown, the city got to take a moment to breathe. The summer was cooler and for the first time in years, monsoon started on time and I couldn't be happier. <3
