Minn - a coarse, recycled blockset in L-TONES

An inert building set, with no particularly special properties. As you run your fingers over the surface, you feel fibers fray and dust fills the air.

I took an empty vinegar jug, cut off the top and made it into a beautiful utensils holder. I braided old fabrics together to make the textile and then glued it around and around.

The braid is made from stretched out socks, torn polyester clothing, and old t-shirts. It was very fun to braid the different textiles together to make this rope and I really love the colors coming together on the final piece. I have a lot more braid to use for other projects, too.
