So that boy band AU idea...? Yeah, that needs to be a thing. Like yesterday.

Hahaha.  Ah man.  It hit me like a freight train while I was in the shower too.  Like, “Oh shit, that’d be so fun to do.“  Doesn’t help that I remembered having seen @linkworshiper‘s doodles of Duo and Heero as Kurt Cobain and Flea respectively YEARS BACK.

I don’t usually seek out AU/crossover storylines because I find canon far too much fun to toy with and build out.  But….but I’ve been known to break the rule on occasion.  That last one I did for NaNoWriMo 2015, but only because I was ahead of the queue for LAM.  If I can similarly get ahead for the AC 202-204 arc(s), then…maybe…we’ll see…

The organization acquiesces to the request and sponsors a small team of elite agents, expecting the matter to be an easily open-and-shut case of far-flung colonial violence and piracy. What waits for them at the colony, however, goes far beyond even their wildest expectations...

NaNoWriMo Status Update: As-of-yet-untitled GW-Aliens crossover complete at 32k or so.

NaNoWriMo Status Update: Only scene left is the one in which Quatre goes and rescues a couple loser pilots from the alien hive.  :P

NaNoWriMo Status report: Day 22, crossed 22k.  That was a hard slog - this past week was nuts with work, and I just today got some of the creative energy back.

NaNoWriMo Status report: Crossed 18k today.  Because of work-related things during the week, I can already tell I’m probably not going to make it to 50k.  But as a first-time participant, I think 30k should be doable.  You guys okay with that?

Also, I’m probably going to end up on AO3 at some point.  Anyone interested in beta reading some #QuatrevsAlien nonsense before it goes up officially?

NaNoWriMo Status report: Just crossed 11k, which means I’m about a day behind as far average word-per-day production goes.  I’m trying to make this thing as Quatre-centric as possible to do the inspiration credit.

This Quatre vs. the alien thing is taking on a whole new level of meme-status. Let's have a "Quatre vs. the alien" week in which a mass amount of fan work is created for this..."meme", lol. #QuatrevsAlien
