It’s amazing how much they consider each other family even if the marriage was the result of political obligation. I mean we only got to hear about Griddle’s first husband and not Allfire’s first wife. They should really explore that in the reboot.

Yes, I just love how Flame sees Blaze and Griddle as family and Griddle Flame as her own daughter. That’s very cute and progressive from a 1990′s comedy cartoon.

YES ! We totally need to know who her mother was ! That’s unfair she was never mentionned, we need to know about her !

New anatomy headcanon

OK so one day Mod Trevor reminded me we do see, a whole episode, Queen Griddle's belly button, while it's strange as not only we never see it again on her, and as no other dragon has one, but also as dragons, as the French dub (being a Canadian, British AND French show, so to me it counts) confirms it, hatch in eggs.

OK so until now, as not only it was the only time we saw one, and as usually she has belly plates, I thought it was again one inconsistency the show often has (like making Burnevere muscular some times, and skinny other times like in this same episode btw, and let's not talk about the characters height chart) and a comical effect to enhance her big belly.

OK it's about birds but dragons are imaginary creatures anyway so maybe they're not even entirely reptiles (I do headcanon so, that they are part mammal for their hair and female boobs, and reptile of course for obvious reasons, and why not birds are the Asian dragons have some feathers in some parts) Apparently, embryos in eggs are linked to the yolk sack by they belly with a sort of umbilical chord, and when the baby hatches there is a scar like a belly button, except it usually heals. But not only it says "usually" and not "always", supposing they have a bit of mammal in them maybe it doesn't !

So new headcanon : they have a "belly button", the yolk sack scar, between 2 belly plates line so we hardly see it. The lack of belly plates in that episode is just a design error.

Actually Aglowvaine is doing shit off-screen. It will last the whole month I am feeling so. The Griddle youth mood I mean. At last, readers of Nearisghted Love such as CitrusEucalyptus, you finally see how Calida look like ! Probably not how you expected her, but eh, they say she's beautiful, fat ladies can be beautiful. The thing is it's funny Aglowvaine could make fat joke about Griddle who was not fat at the time but nothing to Calide (as he loved her) who would all be like "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME ?!" It was still back when Calida loved her husband but she was starting tired of his shit already, especially as she had become friend with her sister-in-law Griddle. Reason she's by her side here.  Ignore how I screwed the skinny effect on Griddle's dress or the smoke effect. -Mod Ben
