tbh the malika thing abt the "ethnic lunch" made me squeal in delight-- reminded me of all the times in preschool + kindergarten when i would show up rockin' the homemade za'atar w/ feta cheese + pita bread @ lunchtime + all the jealous white kids would make fun of me! "oh my god, what are you eating? it looks like ants!!!" + the teachers made me eat away from all the other kids bc my "ethnic lunches" were 2 distracting

Damn, you can’t have kids running around thinking that mayo on white bread = food.
