Guys, Dorian was there when they tortured Ress and Brullo and the rest of Chaol's men. Young and handsome. That's how Celaena had always described Ress in Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight. Familiar because Dorian had known him a few years before the collar was put on him. Dorian was forced to watch Ress -- sweet, innocent, 19 year old Ress be tortured and interrogated over the period of DAYS. His father and the demon forced him to watch someone, that I would consider to be almost a friend, be tortured. Why did I never notice this before?
