Comparing Canon to Fanfiction: Hitting Women
Canonically, Vader has no problem with inflicting brutal, physical damage on women - even before he turned to the dark side.
You can hear her wrist crackle in this scene.
However, I haven’t seen much of that in fanfiction. Sure, fanfic!Vader Force-chokes everyone equally, and strikes them down with his lightsaber, but it doesn’t just stop there for his canon counterpart.
