Hi! First off thank you so much! :)

I don't mind sharing how I did it. It's pretty simple to do.

So I'm gonna be showing how to do this coloring:

(i don't save my psds so i did my best to recreate what i did in this gifset):

Okay, so you need to know the basics of ps and once you do your size and sharpen I use these adjustments layers:

next I click on the Hue/Saturation layer

and click on where it says Master-

and click on yellow and adjust the saturation to -100... so when I want to make everything but the person in the gifset 'black and white' ill go to hue/saturation and make the certain colors I don't want around the subject saturation down to -100. most of the time you don't wanna do yellow and red cause that will make the person in the gifset 'black and white' too. there's an extra step you can do to get around that but it can be tricky.

I'll just give you a click run down how to do that real quick:

You can click on the white box in the hue/saturation layer

and then use the brush tool and start brushing over the subject to get them in color again. (hope that all make sense) I would recommend working moments where the subject in the gifset is not moving or not moving much.

as you can see making the yellow to -100 makes all that grass 'black and white'. Sometimes you might need to also go to the green in hue/saturation and make the saturation -100 too. From there i go to my brightness/contrast and curves and play around until i'm satisfied with them and then i go to the selective color layer.

I usually will adjust the reds/yellows and blacks

and yeah that's pretty much how i accomplished making that gifset! Hope that helps. :) Let me know if anything didn't make sense or just have more questions.
