~*~ The sun had set not too long ago and the air had a chill to it. A little chill wasn’t too terribly unbearable as the day had been overly warm. In the small bit of woods near where a young blonde lived she was running the trails with a light jacket on. Her long blonde hair was pulled into a high pony tail and she looked like nothing could distract her from the run. That wasn’t fully true though. Even if she looked like she was fully concentrating on her path the girl was still highly aware of her surroundings. 

Her foot broke a branch in her path and she slowed to a jog for a short break. The girl was almost back at the beginning of the trail. A gust of wind passed her and something inside the girl made her stop, like she felt another person somewhere near her. 

“Hello?” The blonde called out, a little unsure if she was truly alone in the woods. “Anyone there?”

In  eclipse  verse,  Leona  is  so  touch  starved  she  would  probably  be  reduced  to  a  mess  if  someone  as  much  as  hugged  her.  She  is  strung  tight  as  a  bow  at  all  times,  &  she  won’t  admit  it  of  course,  but  she  does  long  to  have  some  form  of  love  in  this  verse  ——  to  have  someone  to  hold  &  to  be  held.

She  is  so  stubborn  &  focused  on  her  task  of  eliminating  the  Coven  that  she  barely  allows  herself  any  pleasures.  Showering,  eating,  sleeping,  even  all  her  basic  needs  are  only  done  out  of  necessity  &  she  refuses  to  drag  any  of  it  out  to  relax.  In  short,  she  gets  no  affection  because  she  cannot  allow  herself  any  breaks  &  she  suffers  silently  through  it.

Even  in  this  verse,  even  with  how  tense  &  closed  off  she  has  become,  she  still  has  a  lot  of  love  to  give.  It’s  just  locked  far,  far  away.
