The five people you meet in heaven by mitch albom - This was a really interesting book that made me think, it's centered around the fact that when you die you meet five people to explain your life to you and then you wait to explain someone else's life, and I don't know it just really spoke to me.
Body surfing - I remember being completely engrossed in this book and just rooting for the main character to end up happy.
If nobody speaks of remarkable things By jon mcgregor - This book is heart breaking, it's written like poetry and I'm just in awe of this author.
The magic faraway tree by Enid Blighton - I read this book as a child it's actually a collection of books and it's funny and exciting and as a child I aways dreamt I'd find a magic tree that could transport me away to different words - let's be honest I'm still hoping.
The lives of christopher chant by Dianna Wynne Jones - I've read this book like ten times and the whole chrestomanci series and there's something about it, it just magics me away from everything and no matter how old I get I still come back to it.
For one more day by mitch albom - I love mitch albom's books and this is another that touched me because it's about a man who gets to spend one more day with his mother, and I think everyone has one someone they wish they could spend one more day with.
The sky is everywhere by Jandy Nelson - What I love about this book, is the actual book, throughout it there are pages with little poems the main character has written it's stunning.
JD Robb's Detective Eve Dallas series - One of my favourite series that I'm only like halfway through, futuristic crime solving? What's not to love? Plus there's always a little romance in there which is great!
The Key's series from Garth Nix - An amazing series that just transported me away and made me believe that everyone even the most plain average person can be extraordinary, it's all in us.
Wolf brother by Michelle Paver - Another book that I read when I was younger and I keep meaning to read the rest of the series but I never seem to have the time.
