Nozel:

I feel bad for saying this but Nozel is my least favorite Black Clover character. I just really hate how the first phase of his redemption was done, like the reason he gives for being so awful to Noelle to me felt like a bad retcon to suddenly try to make him more sympathetic, because it really does not feel like a good enough reason to say all the things he said to her; and it simply does not make sense considering how far he went. I also hate the way he treats Yami and some of the things he said to him, and as far as I remember there has been no sign of him becoming more respectful to him (he internally acknowledges Yami’s role in Noelle’s growth but that’s it) or changing his views on the lower classes in canon

I do LOVE his character design though. I guess in canon his braid actually looks tacky but the first time I saw him I was just thinking “his hairstyle looks so cool!” XD

Nebra:

Out of all the Silvas, Nebra is simply just the…least written out of all of them. Not necessarily the least well written, just the least written. But I excuse it because to me she’s the most beautiful Black Clover character lol, so I still obsess over her a little. But really Tabata should’ve done more with her and her relationship with Noelle before her and Solid’s redemption, like Solid got fighting Noelle in the royal knights arc

Also I don’t like Zobra bc she has no sign of development in terms of her classism either and so I just don’t think it’s realistic (hate is a strong word though and I know that part of the point of the ship in the first place is to give Nebra that missing development).

Solid:

I don’t have any strong feelings either way with Solid. He’s originally written to be hated (though I personally don’t actually dislike a lot of Black Clover characters actually written to be hated); he’s a terrible brother to Noelle with no good reason, but I can appreciate how neither he nor the narrative tries to make any excuse for him or Nebra, they were both just being petty and they know it, and so I like their redemptions repairing their relationship with Noelle a whole lot better than Nozel’s.

Noelle:

Noelle is one of my favorite main female shonen protagonists ever, and I especially love her character development, both in terms of her self confidence and her views on class in the Clover Kingdom

Mereoleona:

I like her a lot; I think she’s awesome and hot with her timeskip haircut, though I will admit I’d like to see even more introspection from her, and probably her spending more time with Leopold

Also bless all the artists who give her muscles; she canonically has a higher physical strength stat than Fuegoleon yet the canon art does not show it smh

Fuegoleon:

I love Fuegoleon angst and god I wish his feelings were addressed more, especially about William’s betrayal and his pardon. LET ME SEE MORE RESENTMENT FROM HIM HE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO BE MAD

Sometimes I look at him and think about the bullshit he goes through and I’m just like:

Leopold:

WHERE TF IS HE

I HATE THAT HE’S JUST LEFT IN THE DUST WHEN HE’S SUPPOSED TO BE ANOTHER RIVAL OF ASTA’S, LET HIM KEEP UP WITH HIM AT LEAST A LITTLE

Kirsch:

As of right now he’s my favorite royal because I love his character development in the royal knights arc

By people being “weird” about him I’m just talking about some people who hate on him even after he gets character development and they don’t seem to acknowledge it and it makes me sad 😔

Mimosa:

She’s cool and I love how she’s obliviously insanely rude but she’s actually the sweetest person in existence, but she’s just personally not my favorite type of character. Maybe I’d like to see more of her relationships with her teammates in the Golden Dawn, I feel like there aren’t even that many interactions between her and Yuno

I also want more of her and her brother, the best bickering siblings

I think I just want more of her interacting with other characters from the usual ones she’s with

And if you’d like to know a bit about my main ocs, after the elf arc Ismene actually gets found and arrested a few days later than the rest of the Midnight Sun, and when she does she gets turned in with a massive acid burn on her left shoulder from a magical beast, that heals but still scars. It would probably make sense if she had to go to the healing tower first to get that treated.

And as of right now I don’t plan on giving Genepi any major injuries that require medical attention at the tower in her storyline, but she is actually very close to Fuegoleon and would visit him in the hospital, so that could possibly be a way for her and Lily to meet too.

Ismene is a very timid, quiet person who constantly apologizes for anything and everything, while Genepi is very serious and tries to be stoic around most people, but not always successfully.
