No, I definitely think the border is about racism and antiblackness, but Spain is /not/ considered white by any other european I've ever met(Which is a lot 'cause I'm european myself), or by any of the spaniards I've ever known(Which is also a lot, mostly 'cause my step-family is spanish) Which is why I thought it didn't makes sense to use them in a "if, POC country on the other side the /white europeans/" sense

Well one tumblr user from Spain said that they are considered white and many people in Spain are considered white. But now I don't know what to think.

I mean, they aren't PoC either way. Jews aren't considered white in Europe but it would still be weird to call them PoC.

I don't know. I'll edit the other posts where I said definitely because I don't know for sure.

Well, they're not considered white in Europe

Well I'm not an expert but I know there are indigenous groups in Spain who might not be seen as white there, but I don't think that's true of all Spanish people. Other people can correct me if I'm wrong.

Either way, I think it's obvious antiblackness and racism motivated the creation of that barrier.

And either way, they are not PoC, which is a US concept that only makes sense for groups in the US.

People in Spain aren't white so the border between Spain and Morocco doesn't make sense as an example of "if, POC country on the other side the white europeans"

People in Spain are definitely white.
