i just watched the opening and ending of tybw cour 4 and i have Thoughts (spoilers for the end of bleach) (my darling anime only friends please don't read 💖)

first of all the scream i scrumpt when i saw yachiru's reflection in the puddle... oh my god i was yelping like a dog. SHE'S STILL HERE WITH HIM.... SHE'S JUST NOZARASHI NOW....

secondly. clears my throat. JUSHIROOOOOOOO JUSHIRO JUSHIROOOOOOOO UKITAKEEEEEEEEE. JUSHIRO IS SO PROMINENT THAT ITS SCARING ME. WGAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT. don't get me wrong i'm over the moon and obsessed with him dead wifing it up but i'm just like.... hello.... is it possible we could be getting more scenes with you....? could it possibly be.....? do i dare to hope...........? (even if not i am so happy to see him haunting shunsui. jushiro was born to be a dead wife)

SPEAKING OF! there's those flashes of black and white that circle each other briefly before they merge into this Suspiciously Eye Shaped thing

(i know that eyes are very much just a thing of the soul king/ywhach but also.... 👁️) did. did anyone else think they looked a little bit like... fish..... could it be possible.... jushiro....? KAZUI.....? HELL?!?!?!?!? (<- i am aware this is pure hopium but let me have this okay.)

third. i can't lie i am a little bit sad that they showed tsukishima and ginjo in the opening. i've been holding that twist back for YEARS since i like it and think it's really funny. but i feel like showing them at this point is just a little too much information. perhaps i'm wrong but i feel like you could probably put two and two together at this point and figure that Something Like That is going to happen. or just the fact that they'll appear. idk i've just kept that under wraps for so long and i've been excited to see my friends reactions to it, so i'm a little bummed that it might be given away early. (that being said, some of my friends said they didn't notice uryū standing with the sternritter in opening one? so who knows....)

last but not least. biggest win for me and me only.

I think at bare minimum all medical professionals need to make sure they are treating patients with more kindness and respect than grifters. if you go to a doctor and they treat you like shit, humiliate you, and send you home without any information on your body or access to treatment, then health-grifters' offers will start to feel more tempting by simply giving the most basic performance of taking you seriously and caring about your well-being. grifters should be condemned for manipulating and exploiting sick people, and doctors also play a role in whether grifts thrive or are successfully identified and rejected. genuine baseline human respect, and beginning a relationship with a patient by earning (rather than demanding) trust, goes a long way.
