i mean the interesting thing about altean!Lance headcanons is taking Lance--petty, beautiful, funny, thoughtful, insecure Lance--and placing him in a position of power (aka royalty). And then also allowing him to have a close bond with Allura that we don't see in the show. Like my Altean Lance AU has Lance as the bastard son who Allura adored but the public hated. It's fun getting the characters to play off each other in interesting ways that aren't possible in canon.
Agreed, I think it’s awesome to explore characters in different scenarios, especially in one with so many different alien races as Voltron, but you can do that without turning Lance into a copy paste of Allura herself when she is literally everything you’re looking for in an altean Lance headcanon

No, Lance has NOT been sexually abused as a child. I will have to go back onto previous drawings/speechbubbles and edit the text wherever molestation is mentioned as I used that word incorrectly.
There will not be any content warning other than i had with Shiro being hurt, and that my blog’s target audience are adults.
