The young woman has gathered a crowd around her, leaving Zhang San wanting to observe the event. He slides past the people with quiet pardons and excuse me’s to reach the front of the circle. All he sees is a young woman haggling a price of an expensive bag, and it seems to be working in her favor! The observers take notes on their phones or record the scene with happy grins on their faces. He wonders if they have never lived in China before, these sorts of ordeals often happen among the smaller markets in the countryside. 

When the woman finally claims victory, the crowd applauds for her efforts and spoils. Zhang San seems to be the only one refusing to clap, looking left and right over the faces of the crowd. Zhang San thinks these people are slaves to entertainment and wealth, dipping his head to one side. He blatantly ignores that he, too, is a slave to his own vices. “What’s so great about that cheap bag?” he asks aloud, silencing the crowd in one swift motion. 

“It’s made from a butchered animal, whose parts have undoubtedly been left to rot in a dumpster.”

To say the Miqo’te had a eventful few days was a understatement that he honestly needed to clear his head. He didn’t really want to go too far from his condo so the next best place that he thought would be nice and calming is the Beach.

Granted,the Miqo’te has a phobia of water and cannot swim.....But he cannot deny that the sounds of the waves and the feel of the sand were very soothing to him. A gentle flick of the ear caused him to slightly turn his head as he heard another set of footsteps not far from his own and lightly blinks at the other who was following him? They probably weren’t but they seemed like a new face.....Then again almost everyone here is a new face to him.

  “ Ah hello! Do you require some help or something? ”
