He wanted us to get married and have a family- I told him I wasnt ready for that yet" she replies to loki as she starts to frown at the thought of what happened back then with her ex, she was surprised at herself for opening up to loki about this. Maybe saying it out loud would help her move on from that part of her life. " Ryan decided to cheat on me and with that same woman, had a child with her" she muses with a tight smile trying to hide the hurt behind her eyes," so after that I just decided to stay single"

Loki's smile faltered slightly as he listened, a more understanding expression taking its place. While he hadn't encountered anything like that himself, he knew what betrayal felt like all the same. Before he responded, he mulled over the information and the questions that the mortal posed with a thoughtful look. He leaned on the table slightly, studying her closely as he replied, subtly searching her visage for her reaction.

"I can understand the complexity of relationships - mine are certainly far from perfect," he began, shaking his head imperceptibly at the thought. "He's a fool, then, if he chose not to wait patiently for you... But perhaps it's for the best - his loss may very well be your gain." Tilting his head to the side slightly, the God continued after a brief pause with a hint of introspection. "I've not considered a queen by my side, if I'm honest," he mused, "but it doesn't mean I won't search for one in the future. As for now, the last person I was with... well, Sigyn and I were together for a while."

" I have to admit seeing you on earth was a scary experience, especially watching all those other aliens invading there, but sitting here with you now..I feel safe" she replied with a small smile, as margo gazed at loki. At the mention of her family she continued " my father is traditional and believes in old school values. It makes worse cause hes a cop. Always wanted the perfect family, wanted me to get married have kids but that never happened..."

He furrowed his brows imperceptibly as he listened to her speak, inclining his head slightly and leaning back in his chair, arms folded over his chest. The God of Mischief felt a flicker of something warm in his abdomen at the mention of her feeling safe around him - a feeling faint and fleeting, but there nonetheless, and the way she smiled at him didn't help. Clearing his throat once she'd finished, he broke himself away from the sensation he had been trying to decipher, shaking his head a little and meeting her gaze again. "Yes, well, I'm quite surprised you haven't been married off yet," he admitted, keeping his voice steady and shrugging one shoulder slightly. Loki contemplated his words before he went on. "If I may... why didn't you? Get married and have a family, I mean?"

" yeah, I do love my parents but sometimes I always felt like the black sheep of the family. Especially by my father" she mused, shaking her head a bit a the memories of her past, " one day I decided that I wouldn't do things to please him but for myself" she said with a firm voice, gazing back at loki she saw for a split second how his expression change at the mention of Odin. She wanted to know more about his past but didnt want to push the subject. Besides margo was really enjoying his company.

As she heard him mention about what happened in new york, her eyebrows lifted wanting to understand his reasons for coming to earth " when you say opposite, what do you mean by that loki?"

Listening as she spoke, he gave a subtle nod in agreement; he had decided that he wasn't going to make attempts at pleasing Odin or Thor any further once he had fallen from the Bifrost. Once he had learned of his true heritage and that he was the 'monster' that he was raised to despise. The God of Mischief observed her quietly for a long moment before he replied, his voice steady and low, "What I mean is that I wasn't necessarily in power - rather, I fought for it as I always do..." He knew it was vague, but his pride - among the conflicting feelings he had - refused to allow him to elaborate further. After all, he hadn't even told Thor...

"There's much more than what everyone saw in New York or in Stuttgart," he mused, shaking his head slightly. "There's usually much more than whatever surface people are shown; only fools take what they initially see as fact." His tone was contemplative as he spoke, a flicker of something unreadable passing in his eyes as he held her gaze. Then, he changed the subject delicately, "Your family - you mentioned you no longer do things to please your father. What happened to change your mind?"

" Well I haven't done a play in years, since high school. I used to perform comedy, drama even romance. I believe I was 18 when I participated in Romeo &Juliet" she replied as her expression softened, remembering her childhood was a tricky subject. But as she was talking to loki she felt strangely comfortable around him,it was nice seeing this side of him. " my family was pretty strict with me and my sister growing up, well mostly me. I was sort of a trouble maker in my early years." Margo said as she was enjoying her food, which was very delicious. After realizing she mentioned her family she paused, thinking she may have said to much. Looking up from the table, she gazed at his gorgeous eyes for his reaction

"Ah, yes, 'Romeo and Juliet' - a classic," he nodded slightly, his mind flashing on the book he had read once while visiting Midgard. The God of Mischief shifted slightly in his chair, leaning back with a faint smirk at the mention of her family; it was one tinged with nostalgia, curiosity, and a conflicting sense of emotion he couldn't quite decipher, caused no less from his own tumultuous relationships with his family. "I know all about being a trouble maker," he mused, his head falling to the side a fraction, "Odin assumes the worst from me at every turn." His expression had faltered a little, just enough to show his inner turmoil for a mere second before his mask fell back into place.

He held her gaze as he listened to the rest of what she had to say, noting the way the dim lighting shone against her doe eyes. The God was pulled from his subtle admiration of her, however, when she mentioned his last name, a bit put off by the inquiry yet noticing her teasing tone. Loki knew that Midgardians tended to be intrigued by their surroundings, and this was no different; he steeled himself to form a response. "I prefer Loki of Asgard," he stated steadily, his voice low, "and as for having them kneel..." The God of Mischief shook his head slightly, trying to find the words. He had been under the influence of the Mind Stone at that point, images of Thanos flashing through his mind too quickly for him to grasp onto one. "Quite the opposite, actually," he finally murmured, holding her gaze once again.

" sounds like a perfect plan" she responded to loki as they entered the hall. It was so surreal, seeing all these gods and goddesses around even asgardians who have no idea that a simple ordinary human walked among them. She wondered what would happen if they knew? She snapped out of those thoughts as loki found them a table, where it was mostly private. After they took a seat, loki changed back to his form, her eyes did a double take. After hearing loki ask did she miss him, margo couldn't help but blush a bit" mmm I don't know, I was getting used to you're bad boy look" she smirked and teased him. " I still can't believe I'm here, even after all I have seen back on earth, nothing compares to this" she replies with a smile, gazing once more around the place, then she grins at loki. " I have to say I'm starving so I can't wait to eat, don't let this figure fool you, I do have a large appetite" she quickly glanced at the down to look for the menu. Then her eyes land back on loki she ask " what do you like ?"

He chuckled to himself as he noticed the faint flush in her features. Loki couldn't help but observe her, taking in the genuine interest she seemed to have and the way her countenance lit up. For a moment, he felt as though he might not breathe. She was enchanting: everything from her softened expressions to the way she teased him, how she seemed to adapt quickly to change and the curiosity she carried...

Still, he remained impassive, carefully keeping his true emotions hidden away. At her question of whether he could go periods of time without eating, Loki gave a quiet laugh, his gaze subtly flickering to the table then back up to meet hers. "We're capable of going two months without food or drink," he answered matter-of-factly, a tinge of mirth in his tone, "I suppose that's a benefit and a curse, depending on how you look at it. I'm not one to eat often, unlike Thor or Volstagg, and I prefer a well rounded diet."

The God of Mischief pondered her other question briefly before he responded. "I've always loved plays, yes," he mused, tilting his head a smidgen as he observed her. "I've not performed in them, however, but I've witnessed many. Do you still perform at all?"

" woah, thanks for that" she replied after nearly getting hit with an asgardian walking by, she felt his arm holding her close to his new body. It still felt nice but she still prefer his real form. Hearing him talk about his abilities was amazing yet alarming. She didn't want to seem too eager to ask all these questions about him or he would know her true reasons for being here in the first place. She continued walking with loki side by side. " now I'm really looking forward to trying the food and drinks, I'm also look forward to watching a play here. That would be fun"

Loki arched his brow slightly, glancing toward her with a flicker of curiosity. As if reading her mind, he chuckled to himself and replied smoothly, "I won't be like this forever - just until we reach the banquet hall. My status as a Prince and trickster - particularly the latter - precede me here." He contemplated her suggestion of catching a play and he gave a small nod in agreement, wondering what sort of theatrics they would put on tonight. "Certainly," The God responded with a hint of interest, "We can attend after dinner."

It wasn't long before they were entering the distinguished halls, long tables stretched out before them full of succulent foods, mead, wine, and the like. Gods, Goddesses, and Asgardian civilians mingled freely, although most notably, Odin, Thor, and a few others weren't present amongst the crowd. He guided her over to a more secluded area, where few sat, to give her some time to adjust and keep her mortality under the radar. As they took a seat together, Loki's form returned to its former state, his mischievous smile returning as he met her gaze. "Miss me then, darling?" he teased quietly, then turned his attention to the platters and silverware before then, gesturing vaguely, indicating she was more than welcome to help herself to the sustenance that lay before them.

" oh, thank you" she whispered to loki as he gave her a dark green shawl. After looking around at the people of asgard being in awe of the beauty here, she turns to loki and gasp a bit when he changed his appearance to a rather handsome looking man. " Well don't you look dashing" she said with a smirk, even tho she already miss his original look but I got the feeling he did that for a reason. " the gathering hall sounds like a good start,I'm curious of what type of food and drinks you have here in asgard?"

His lips quirked up into a small smirk and he observed her momentarily from his peripherals, satisfied with the compliment and her intrigue at his home. "There's plenty of different foods - apples, berries, stews, soups, barley bread, just to name a few," he went on, dodging past another small group of Asgardian civilians.

"There's also something called Sæhrímnir, although it might be a little brutal for Midgardians," he admitted, keeping his voice low, just between the two of them. "It's a boar, killed and reborn each night; it's eaten by the Æsir - the Gods - and the einherjar, which are those who have died in battle and reside in Valhalla."

He mulled over the inquiry, deciding how much information he wanted to give the mortal about his abilities. While he loved the idea of someone being genuinely interested in his capabilities, he wasn't fond of playing all his cards in one go. "They don't refer to me as the God of Mischief for no reason," Loki mused, another small smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "I've plenty of different powers; shape-shifting, hypnosis, teleportation..."

He gave a casual shrug, pulling her closely against his side and forcing her to duck her head as a burly Asgardian citizen lumbered by with cargo jutting out, carried upon his shoulder. Once they had passed by, he gently released her, but kept his arm around her waist to keep her safe and near.
