Hello! I’m a new listener to Delain and was wondering if you could give song suggestions that a new comer should start off with. Thanks! :)
Phew, I really had to think about this.
In my opinion, Delain sounds different with every album. Lucidity and A&C sound soooo different, as does almost everything inbetween. For example; I love Moonbathers more than almost any other album by any other band, but for some reason I’m not really feeling A&C. It happens, but it doesn’t make me love them any less.
What I think could help, is if I just give you some songs per album. If one particular album isn’t your thing, maybe another album is.

Moonbathers Hands Of Gold Suckerpunch Fire With Fire Danse Macabre Turn The Lights Out (As I said, favorite album, idc that I just recommended half the album)
Hunter’s Moon Art Kills Hunter’s Moon (This is an EP, but these songs aren’t on any full-length album)
Apocalypse & Chill Burning Bridges Let’s Dance Masters Of Destiny Legions Of The Lost
With only a few songs per album, this list still is a lot longer than I thought it would be. I hope this list helps you find your way! Also, I really recommend listening/watching some live recordings because in my opinion, they’re even better live than they are on record.
