B.B let out a creative string of curse words as her P.O.S car refused to start...again. B.B liked to think she knew a lot about cars, her and her mom had owned some junkers before, but no matter what she attempted the new rental car refused to roar to life. First day at a new school, and she wasn’t only going to be the new girl. She was going to be late. Already, she could feel her nerves building. No matter how many times she did the new girl shtick she always feel exposed and nervous, and this time the situation was different. This time they were staying. Her mom had promised that they could stay until she finished high school. Sighing, she got out the car and headed in the direction of the school. She still had 15 minutes before the first bell rang.
