Yellow: 7 facts about my childhood
1. I started doing shows when I was seven years old when my dad cast me as Winthrop in The Music Man.
2. Peter Pan has been in my life since before I was born - my mom was seven months pregnant with me when she and my dad went to see Cathy Rigby in the stage show. I strongly believe this has to do with my connection to the story.
3. I played soccer for two years. I was best at goalie, where I would do cartwheels and pick dandelions.
4. I was devastated when I realized I would never get to see the candified Cinderella Castle from the 25th anniversary of Walt Disney World.
5. My brother didn't learn how to look at a camera until he was 8 or 9. All of the pictures of him when he's little, his eyes are looking sideways. He claims he did this on purpose because he thought pictures looked unnatural when people were looking at the camera.
6. My hair used to be bleach blonde and extremely straight when I was 6 through 11. Then it curled up and darkened a little and now is beautiful (when I can grow it out aka not at Disney).
7. I was about 4 years old when I found a Christmas ornament of Dorothy Gale and thought it was Belle. That was when my mom realized it was time for us to see The Wizard of Oz. Good on you, Mom.
