Late post but worth it . When your fire burns high and long, it is known that you worked hard gathering the timber. Fear only means you are more of a human. But what sets you apart when you are standing at the start line is, there are only a handful including you who braved to be there. Nothing else matters once you begin the race except for your will to finish it strong. You were there and you did it. As in any sporting events, participants work against everyone and with everyone. At one point during the race, i had a bad cramp but luckily was saved by a co-participant, a random stranger, who didn’t think twice to offer me help to ease the pain. Tour de Bintan is indead a challenging one but i had fun. At the end of the day... its the climb.
