my roman empire is how the queer community turns being unlabeled into another label. nonbinary has been turned into another binary, and if you're not a perfectly androgynous thin white they/them who dresses goblincore and listens to cavetown you're treated as either a trans woman or trans man, or cis and faking it (eg; "theyfab"). i, as a person who mostly identifies as queer unlabeled, constantly have people trying to force me into their idea of me and my identity.
