Hey lovely readers,

Do you remember when I reviewed Wandering Son and mentioned I was working on "other projects?" Well I'm excited to share one of those projects with you! I wrote an article for The Mary Sue about queer, transgender and genderqueer characters in anime and manga and it was published today! You can read it here, and I'd love to hear any comments/feedback!

I'm writing a second article for The Mary Sue about transgender, genderqueer and genderfluid people who have found community/safe space/support through cosplay, so if you or your friends fit that bill and would like to share a story please message me for details!

Embarking on this project has allowed me to start engaging in bigger conversations about representation in the media, and it's starting to get really exciting.
