Here, have my favorite fruit and one I don't actually like: raspberry, passion fruit, strawberry, cranberry and star fruit.
Oh now you gotta tell me which one you don’t like! Also thank you for the fruit basket. <3
raspberry: favorite flower?
It doesn’t count as flower exactly, but my favorite blossoms are lilacs, pretty much hands down. The season of them is about to start here, or it would have, if the temperature suddenly didn’t drop under 10 C as it had. And it fills my heart with joy and soft heartache.
From actual flower-flowers, I love lilies and tulips a lot, though most flowers are absolutely gorgeous to me.
passion fruit: how would you describe your style?
I actually made a moodboard because someone asked and it’s so hard for me to give a good answer.
The are all things that I, in some form, have in my actual closet.
Darker colors with brighter/lighter accents. Denim. Usually pants. Embroidery. Flower patterns. Multiple earrings and especially long, dangly ones. Nice caps and pageboy hats. Rings that are always worn. Color matching. Turtle necks and cozy sweaters in winter. Trench and pea coats. Lace and sheer fabric details. Bell sleeves. Off-shoulder tops. Things like that! It sounds kind of just girly, but again, it’s mostly in darker colors. Something like that.
I don’t know what style it is, per say, so it’s just what it is.
strawberry: favorite desserts?
Ice cream, hands down. I love all kinds of ice cream, the sweetness level affects how much of it I can eat it, but I will ignore my mild milk intolerance for ice cream any day. There’s so many new types I want to try this spring/summer, but I’m borderline down with cold so I can’t. (And when I do, it gets a bit worse, so oof.)
Though I do love a nice cake, especially cheese cakes or the sort that aren’t too sickeningly sweet. And dark chocolate.
cranberry: favorite time of the day; morning, afternoon, dusk, or night?
Dusk to go out and enjoy the sights, to catch the sunset, both as it approaches and then slowly fades into the soft night. There is softness to it, a sort of longing filled hopefulness and ache all at once. Though, the few mornings, very early with the sunrise, also have a captivating, similar sensation, riding high on the detached, floating sensation that I usually have that as early as I’ve not slept the night before.
And night to be awake and about, free and safely cocooned in my living space, surrounded by music and people whom I love, even if they’re on the other side of world. Slipping in worlds of my own making and knowing mild exhaustion takes my brakes off enough for me to be able to actually write... The moon peaking through the clouds and stars glimmering over my apartment building yard, suddenly so bright after my eyes have been blinded by street lights for too long.
star fruit: favorite sea creature?
I actually thought about sending this to you, haha.
Hmm, I’m actually not sure, to be honest. How deep of sea are we thinking? Something like sea otter or seal or something that never surfaces, like cute little fishes? I don’t think I have one very distinct favorite, though I do particularly like the ones I mentioned, and dolphins.
