are sombra and gabe cursed too, or are they just naturally that charming?

its all natural for them! though i’ll probably never get into the politics of it, gabe, sombra, n akande are all capable of shape switcharoos due to being more magically inclined and in tune with the ocean’s depths. 

while all merfolk can, in theory, do the same after, amelie belonged to a family that had exactly no magical potential. not to say that she wouldnt have just picked it up over time by spending time with gabe and sombra (magic tends to be sticky and lingers for decades), but from the getgo her magic machine was broke. 

hence why sea witchs are a sort of ‘necessity’

Hi! I'm auditioning for a (mixed college/high school) youth orchestra and their website asks for excerpts and "two works of contrasting styles". In your experience, does that mean I should prepare two separate pieces or would two contrasting movements of the same piece work? (I'm going to email them with the question but I'm not sure they'll respond because it's summer)

Yeah you’ll probably want two different pieces, one movement of each will suffice.  Contrasting means more baroque vs. contemporary as well as fast vs slow, so that’s hard within the same piece!

ALEXANDRITE - How well do you do in most social situations? IT LIKE SUPER DEPENDS if I’m surrounded by strangers my own age then Shit Boy I Die unless it’s someplace like con. If the strangers are like parent age then usually I’m fine? Or if I’m with friends + people they know then I am all good

LION - If you could store anything in your pockets with no space limit, what would you put in them? WOW that is interesting question. Hm. A toilet. Can I enter my pockets? If so, that. And computer and a lot of books. And my fancy camera. And some pets. So many things.
