so me and my gf just watched the “Queering the Script” (2019) documentary about queer fandom and its interaction with the media we consume and let me tell you, next to my gf who only realized she was queer when she started liking me 2 years ago, I felt like a goddamn war veteran when they started talking about Lexagate in 2016 and I’m like........ puffs cigar..... i remember............. i remember the dark times.................................. i was there when it was written...............................................
followed by me giving this wide-eyed baby queer who is 10 years older than me a comprehensive history lesson on The Day Shit Went Down on the Internet like she’s writing a report on it for school and I’m the only living relative who experienced it
anyway this is a really cool movie and I recommend it 10/10 I feel heard and motivated after watching it
