5+1 things, Tattoo/Florist AU, Fix-It fic
5+1 things: B (Like it. Not one of my bigger cravings, but it can scratch a certain itch if I’m in the right mood.) For me, a 5+1 is always better when tied to another trope I love. A 5+1 just for the sake of 5+1 is less my speed. But you give me a "five times they pretended to date and one time they did" or "five times someone called someone else a pet name by accident and one time they did it on purpose," you've got me, hook, line, and sinker.
Tattoo/Florist AU: A (Love it. Spend my time combing AO3 for it.) Give me creative professions forever. Especially since there's so much symbolism to be had in either one of these. Give me a magic!Stiles with tattoos and Derek as his tattooer. Or florist!Eddie who's just trying to tell Buck how he feels with the flowers he sends to the station. Makes me wanna go to AO3 right now, actually.
Fix-It fic: C (Neutral. A good author might be able to sell it, but a bad one will kill it deader than dead.) There's a part of me that thinks that you'll think I'm lying here, but hear me out. If a bad thing happens, I can just ignore it in the canon of my fic. I don't have to fix anything, it just happens. Like, I don't need to go hunting for a "fix-it" where Boyd and Erica don't die--I just go hunting for fic where it wasn't ever a question. So like, as a trope, maybe I've gotten the question wrong and it's the only thing I'll read, but as a tag, it's not ever something I go hunting for.
