Quite frankly, that is absurd. The TARDIS was rather busy trying not to have a galactic heart attack, and if I am not mistaken, isn’t too fond of Clara either.

I didn’t let her anywhere. She was lost and running, I was looking for her and running… If anybody let Clara into the library, it was the TARDIS. She’d not have gotten in there if the TARDIS hadn’t led her to it.

Oh, and I can answer the "survival" part. I am still dead, that much is certain. I'm little more than a ghost. However, when Romana came with her sonic screwdriver, I used Badger's data transfer to download myself to it, and from there, your TARDIS' databanks. Since then, I've wandered the TARDIS, and watched your adventures. I will say, it is easy to see how much a loss hurts you. The new TARDIS theme speaks volumes of the Ponds' places in your life.
