" Susan! It's so very good to see you!"
"Barbara! Boy, am I glad to see you." The teen smiled at her friend.

A woman tumbled out of a doorway and straight into the peculiar man's side. "Oh, excuse me! I must have tripped over something..."
The Doctor had been too distracted to see the woman falling right against him. He held her the best he could until she recovered, and couldn't erase the daft smile on his lips the moment he had seen the woman's face.
It had been a long long time since they had last seen each other, and he had changed plenty, but she was still one of the most important persons he had met in his first incarnation, and those who mark your heart like that, are never forgotten. "Barbara. Barbara Wright," he said with a nostalgic look on his face, "and I thought I'd never see you again."
ChesterTON, Doctor, and we're doing well enough. At least, we are for the moment while Parenthood treats us relatively well. John might be our child, but I'm still not looking forward to his teenage years! Yet, if we can survive Daleks, Haunted Houses, acidic seas and over sized moths, surely we can raise a teenager?
He nodded. "Of course, of course, I was just making a joke." He grinned. "Though, have to say, It's been hundreds of years since I've had to raise a teenager my self. I do believe you'll do just fine, though!"
Some say that change is inevitable *tries not to stare at your outfit* but you seem to have embraced it. Perhaps I can take a page from your book one day, and embrace some change myself.
He smiles. "Thank you, I think. You've already changed so much, since we've met." He smiled at her, slyly. "How are you and old Chesterfield doing, anyhow?"
I didn't know you cared so much, Doctor.
Oh of course I do! I might have been a bit argumentative, back then, but you know, people change. Though, I kind of understand if some wouldn't believe me for saying I have.
querybarbara replied to your post: Someone on this website just called me a douchebag!
Oh, my darling, are you alright?
Oh sweetheart I got so angry which I know is stupid but I've calmed down now that I've got it out in the open. Not that they'll see this post anyway. People can be very rude. I'm not sure how I'd have reacted if anyone had insulted you! I think maybe I'd have been swearing all over the place!
querybarbara replied to your photo: One of my favourite snaps of Barbara.
Darling, you could have picked something slightly more flattering, but I do appreciate it. *smiles*
Nonsense, I think you look stunning! And it's our first date! :)
