((Okay to be honest I was a little surprised that you asked this to this account. I’m not exactly a love advice place, nor have I had any good luck with boys [because I’m shyXD], but I’ll give it a shot.
I think you should be patient and get to know the guy better and just be grateful that he’s in the group of people you hang out with ;) Who knows maybe you’ll get close enough to hang out with him alone~
Don’t fret, I’m not sure if your high school has this, but after freshman year you can be in classes with people above your grade. So maybe then you’ll be in his class. I hope that helps so what XD))
