Alex dated a bit before he and Tyler got together. He mostly dated guys without anyone knowing, partly because he didn’t know how anyone would act if they found out he liked guys. It was around his third boyfriend that everyone found out. Tyler, of course, felt hurt that his best friend couldn’t trust him with this information.

It’s also around this time that Tyler started noticing things about Alex he hadn’t before and was getting confused over some new feelings
