And he regularly does so for the pains he experiences throughout his day, every day. When he stubs his toe, when he accidentally burns himself on the frying pan making himself breakfast, and when he bumps his shoulder a little too roughly on the banister of the stairs.
But little do the others know...
He does it for his emotional pain as well.
All the time.
When Virgil threatened him, when Patton skipped him, when Roman wanted to remain ignorant, and when Janus took his place. He spends more time numb than he does actually feeling anything positive, because every interaction he has with the others are gaurunteed to make him feel bad in some way.
He can't even remember the last time he cried, before he found out he had this ability.

“They’re coming. Kiss me!”
“Remus-”
“We’ve gotta hurry.”
Remus grinned at him, lacing their fingers together and leaning forward.
“I don’t have much time, they’ve been getting suspicious.” Logan smiled back at him, the rush of adrenaline feeding into the moment.
“All the more exciting.”
Both their smiles widened as they stood in the hall between the dark and light sides’ domains. Remus was the only one living in the dark sides’ area anymore, Janus having moved in with the light sides. It was lonely down there, but his boyfriend would always make sure he got enough attention.
“Tonight. They won’t let me go, so I’ll have to sneak out.”
“My castle. Is midnight late enough?”
“Virgil might still be up. One is more reliable, and I can either come back before three or after four. Virgil and Janus occasionally lurk around those times.”
Remus grinned and nodded, pressing Logan up against the wall and pulling him down by the tie as his ears pricked at the sound of footsteps. He nearly slammed their faces together, trying to suck every ounce of a kiss from these few moments. He dashed into his room just before Janus rounded the corner.
Logan attempted to regain his composure, heading in the opposite direction of Janus. He was stopped before he could get past, however, by Janus’s hand. The deceitful side smirked as he straightened out Logan’s tie.
“You’re making a habit out of this, aren’t you?”
Logan’s heart rate increased more than he thought it could at this moment. “I’m not sure what you mean.”
Janus got close, placing two fingers along Logan’s jaw. “The other sides won’t be nearly as forgiving if they catch you, but I...”
He traced down Logan’s face to his neck, possibly checking his pulse.
“I think this is rather fun for the two of you, isn’t it?”
Logan smiled, knowing Janus didn’t mean it in a hostile way. Janus continued his way down the hall, calling over his shoulder as he left.
“And if you wouldn’t mind, I think I’ll be joining you later.”
So I love Ashnikko and Rem canonically listens to her. So here we have,,,, this.
It's not Intended to be Unsympathetic sides but! I think they should all be a little nicer to him so I'll tag as questionable! Lemme know if u need that changed :3.

What if, in Logan's room, you can't lie. So he ducks out- Thomas isn't horribly impaired, just slightly slower at remembering some facts- and the light sides go to find Logan.
He argues with them, saying that he knows they never loved him, that they only want to use them. Patton, Roman, and Virgil try to deny that, that of course they love Logan. But they can't get any words out. Thomas pleads that they need Logan, that he isn't the same without his Logic. Logan assures him that Thomas will function normally even if he never shows his face again. Thomas reluctantly admits that he could do that if he wanted, but please visit.
Just as one of the other sides try to convince Logan, once again, to join them in discussions again, Janus shows up. He tells Logan that he would always have a place in the dark side, that he would always be an equal. That they were missing a member. Janus didn't fully intend the jab, but he was too used for his lying to cover up hurt to really be in a place where you could only tell the truth.
Logan agrees immediately. While Patton tries to say that Janus his lying, he doesn't really mean that, Logan lets it be known that no one can lie in his room. Patton immeadiantly shuts up, and everyone but Logan and Janus are forcibly sunk out of the room as it changes to the other side of the mind, neither to be seen for a while.
Logan only feeling like the other sides care about him when he's either been hurt, sick, or just actively sad. Otherwise one of the others is always their favorite and top most priority. He hates feeling like an afterthought, as someone who's opinions only seem to matter when it comes time for them to prove how much they care.
So he leaves.
His room is empty, not a single thing left in it that shows someone used to live there before him. He cleans it down to the base walls that used to be there, there's not a hint of the blue paint that used to be there. Just industrial walls, and cold floors.
He takes what he needs, and he leaves...
Trekking into the imagination, a spot already and a house already built. This wasn't on Roman's side of the imagination, or even Remus'...
Okay with Logan kisses (that is seriously adorable!) what happens when he finds out that the other light sides had told Remus and Janus to stop the kisses?
To put it simply...
He is furious.
It is one of the only times that the other sides have been on the receiving end of him when he's screaming and shouting. They had thought that his screams of falsehood were bad enough... They had no idea what they had unleashed with this, he went on for actual hours and he didn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.
And he was angry, the others didn't have the right to tell other people just what to do when it came to how HIS friends acted around him. They were HIS friends, they weren't for the other sides to control and they had no right doing such a thing.
And Logan tells them such a thing... Or rather he shouts it.
He doesn't blame Janus or Remus though, especially considering that they were just as hurt with the downright abusive language that the others had used towards them.
-He will still suffer from the effects of whatever injury he has suffered, so just because he has numbed say a stab wound doesn't mean that it will go away. He still has to treat it, and make sure that it heals correctly. (This obviously doesn't apply for injuries from Remus or Roman since they're "imaginary" injuries.)
-He occasionally switches off his numbness, to insure that he doesn't have any injuries or illnesses that he isn't aware of, and to ensure that he doesn't use it too often.
-He ALWAYS numbs himself before a video, to ensure that he won't have his feelings hurt by something one of the others could say. (He knows how to give an appropriate response, and usually does so to avoid suspicion and concern.)
-Janus thinks that he's lying about being numb, and he isn't fully aware of just how much Logan is telling the truth and lying about it.
-Remus is confused as to why his attacks didn't hurt Logan, because they were still supposed to hurt at least a little. (So he is at least suspicious of Logan.)
-None of the other sides are aware, and Logan is certain that they wouldn't care in the first place. (The idea that their words and actions hurt him in any way is something that Logan is certain they would deflect and either shift the blame or just not accept at all.)
I gotta ask, about the thing where logan gives his friends kisses and then Janus and Remus return them after he does the same thing to them, how do the others react? I AM OF CURIOSITY
They (mostly Patton) scolds them, because they kind of all assume that Remus and Janus are taking advantage of Logan's feelings and his friendship with those kisses even being a thing. They kind of tell Remus and Janus to stop returning the kisses, because Logan doesn't feel romantically about them, and he never will. So in the other sides' words...
They need to stop.
And it's kind of heartbreaking for Logan once they do.
