Reason for the URL: My usual screen name. I was using Suketchi on an online Pictionary-based site, but a lot of other people on other sites used it, too. I didn’t like having a different number after my name on each online account, so I used LT because I used a laptop computer at the time.

BY THE WAY…. Uber has NO IDEA where that address is and kept sending the poor Uber drivers in circles. I had to use Google Maps to direct them.

Song stuck in my head: Nothing. I’m listening to 10 Minute Power Hours and thus NO MUSIC CAN HURT ME… But a few days ago it was Pentagon’s song Humph! ‘cause y’know. YouTube told me it exists and there is orange eye shadow and I had to process that.

Amount of sleep: I usually get about six hours and then wake up feeling sick. I’m not good at sleeping. xD;;
Lucky number: Numbers don’t give me luck, but I like 4, 2, and their multiples. EXCEPT FOR 36. ‘Cause I don’t like 3 and I also don’t like 9. (36 is 9x4.) ‘CAUSE 9 IS 3 TIMES 3 AND YOU CAN’T DO THAT.
What I’m wearing: Long-sleeved, black shirt by Carhartt ‘cause it has a SHIRT POCKET. Also black pants that are probably for yoga. Spoilers: This is what I always wear at home. I literally have eight sets of the same clothes. Then for work it’s Armachillo shirts and Lee’s blue jeans (jeans I bought from SEARS). I’m simple and can’t handle thinking about fashion. If I like it, I buy a week’s worth and that’s that for two years and then I try to rebuy the same stuff as my wardrobe disintegrates around me. Next step is for my next set of Armachillo shirts to all be blue… Currently, Monday and Thursday are blue, Tuesday and Friday are red, and Wednesday is green. I can’t go to Publix on Wednesdays or else people think I work there ‘cause it’s almost the exact same green and looks like the manager attire.
Dream job: I just want to be comfortable. I haven’t figured out how to do that yet.
Dream trip: I don’t like traveling. Dream trip is to not take a trip. >->
Play any instruments: Not anymore. I used to play a little piano and I was good at French horn and eventually got a double horn (plays French horn and B flat horn- you use the thumb key to switch the set of pipes you’re using), but this was back in middle school. I’m turning 30 this year. xD;;;; OH. I learned a tiny bit of guitar in college, but it hurts my hands, so I have NOT pursued that.
Languages: English. I used to be okay with Spanish, I just had too low of a vocabulary in the topics I was interested in. I’ve also taken a TINY BIT of French and I’ve had a semester of Russian, German, Latin, Modern Greek, Chinese, and Japanese. I’ve derped with Norwegian Bokmål on Duolingo, but I stopped using Duolingo. I tested too high in its Spanish course, so I still didn’t know the darn vocab. xD;;;;;; I want to learn a little Korean and ASL. Haven’t practiced anything, though. I barely speak freakin’ English now. >8V
Favourite songs: I don’t know. I’m not sure I have any favorites, and it’d be weird to say them given that I pay more attention to the sound/feeling of a song than the words. Usually when I say I like something someone will either say they think it’s dumb or try to discuss the meaning and I’m there like, “I can’t even hear the words clearly and I don’t understand poetry and then half of what I listen to isn’t English so I don’t know what you want from me.”
Random fact: I’ve barely been drawing these past two years ‘cause of work and mental health, but I’m trying. >8I…!! I feel super guilty that people want to see more Lindrel, though, ‘cause I’ve been focusing on other characters who aren’t in the DA universe. I’m sorry. ;o;

I dunno. I think I keep stuff bottled up more ‘cause I don’t want to deal with the repercussions of accidentally insulting someone. Unless I get annoyed enough. Honestly, I’d prefer to stay at home and play video games while poking cats with my toes instead of talking to lots of people.

5. Imagine that you’re then told that you’re stuck as the animal you picked before, forever?
Lindrel: He probably smells like his armor. Mostly leather with a touch of nature, like dirt and plants, since he camps outside of Skyhold instead of staying inside it. He bathes regularly, but he doesn’t get all frilly with it, so he wouldn’t have any strong smells right after washing himself.
Finn: He’s gross and doesn’t bathe as much as he should, and he spends most of his time in his armor, so he’d smell like sweat, leather, and metal. Finn’s a tempest and makes his own elixirs, so he’d smell like chemicals, too. He takes more baths after Trespasser, ‘cause he follows Dorian to Tevinter and isn’t camping with the Inquisition soldiers anymore.
Suri: HMMM… I think Suri cleans himself the most. GOTTA LOOK PRETTY. He’d probably smell clean, and might have a slight fragrance from soap, but he wouldn’t go putting on a lot of cologne. You can’t be sneaky and rogue-like if people smell you from across the room. I’d say overall, he’d just have a mild, pleasant smell that you wouldn’t notice unless you were within a foot of him.
Miel: Difficult. >8I;; UM, I don’t think Miel has a particularly noticeable smell, other than her tempest elixirs. She doesn’t wear a lot of clothing that might have a particular scent to it, and she bathes, but she doesn’t use things with strong perfumes. A clean, average smell, with a touch of tempest elixirs, probably.

WILD CARD
UM, I dunno, so I’ll just talk about a couple of people I started, but haven’t continued. Part of my stalling was that I’d hoped I’d get more ideas before actually answering. >->
I’ve been trying to make a new lady for Sera, ‘cause the original one I was working on kind of got… stale? Like, it didn’t feel like they were clicking or progressing, and then I screwed up the romance in the game, so I just got mad and kind of stopped. xD;;
I tried making another Qunari. I was thinking someone relaxed and artsy, so they could bond over the art and not being nobles with political responsibilities, but then her calm/relaxed demeanor would help ground Sera and be a sort of anchor/safety net. I was thinking a mage who uses only defensive magic and carries a shield.
But then while I was working on her, I was thinking about this one time someone was talking about having hallucinations. Like, seeing animals that weren’t there and hearing phones ring when no one was calling. So I started toying with the idea of her having schizophrenia to some degree. The thing is, when I did that, I started feeling like Sera would be uncomfortable and doubt her sanity/realness if she was asking Sera if something existed, or started talking about things that weren’t real. I ended up thinking that maybe it would be best if they were just acquaintances, and she could have conversations with Sera that would get her to think/question, but they wouldn’t be putting a strain on a romantic relationship.
Also, I was thinking about how schizophrenia might affect a mage. Like, mages bring things into reality, so what if someone whose brain doesn’t always register the right reality actually started bringing what they saw into the real world? Like, instead of a necromancer raising the dead, someone who hallucinates might bring the sounds and sights they were experiencing to life. But then there’s also the issue of whether that is a good thing for the character’s mental stability. Like, would they summon their hallucinations on purpose to trick enemies, or would they prefer to try to subdue it, because the fight for reality is already hard enough?
Oh, and I named her Pej. (Pronounced like Pay.) She’s tall and lanky, but I don’t think of her as being super buff, so her hands/feet look weirdly big.
SO THEN I tried making someone else and I was thinking maybe a human, sword-and-shield warrior. I made Natasha (Ta) in the Character Creator. She’s pretty, but I don’t know if I like her. I’m having a hard time imagining how she would react around Sera, and what would prompt them to really hit it off. Her backstory is currently just, “LOL MERCENARY.”
She’s kind of like, “Whatever! Let’s do something fun.” Like, you can’t really insult her, she likes goofing around and being annoying, and she likes telling people they’re attractive. She’s already flirted with Cassandra, but I think later on she’ll start joking that she and Cassandra are siblings, ‘cause they both have short, dark hair and shields. Also, she’s going to be another punster, ‘cause everyone needs more puns and word humor.
That’s all I really have on her. I made her and then my brain just shut down. >_>
You’ve lucked out, ‘cause I have no Inquisitors. Lindrel’s already a companion. O:! I think I’ve answered most of these before, but who wants to dig that deep into the tag? >w> Scribbly Inquisarmor based on this.
1. If not for the Conclave, what would drive your character to join the Inquisition?
Lindrel gets sucked into a rift and is pooted out around a bunch of Venatori months later, so he’s captured. After reaching Skyhold, Lindrel’s spirit friend Morial (who has been an optional companion since the Conclave) tells the Inquisitor that he knows where Lindrel is and would like help rescuing him. The Inquisitor can refuse and thus lose both Morial and Lindrel, or go help and get Lindrel as a companion. O:!
2. How would they meet the Inquisitor?
^^^ They meet when the Inquisitor rescues Lindrel from Venatori and then Lindrel clears a path out by way of lots of fire and stone and everyone goes, “MORIAL, WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL US HE WAS A MAGE? D8<” and Morial’s just like, “What made you think he wasn’t? 8I”
4. What would their romance route look like? Would they be romancable?
He isn’t romanceable. If the Inquisitor doesn’t romance The Iron Bull and if Bull and Dorian are never in the party together to start their romance, Bull and Lindrel become a thing. If Bull’s romanced, Lindrel and Bull just become super good friends and he still joins the Chargers. Everything’s the same except for there’s no kissy stuff. 8U
5. If they romanced someone as Inquisitor, would they still fall for that person as a companion? How would that play out? How would they react to that person being romanced by the “new” Inquisitor?
Assuming Lindrel and Bull are both single, Bull flirts and pesters and Lindrel basically decides to give him a chance by letting Bull start a physical relationship. Lindrel immediately considers it an emotional relationship as well, but he’s not super forward with it and uses elvhen terms and then translates them for Bull as he sees fit. (Dalish doesn’t translate, because she thinks it’s adorable.) Bull asks the Inquisitor to help him find Lindrel’s clan, but Bull’s sources lead to the remains of the clan Lindrel led before the Blight hit Ferelden. Bull finds out that although that clan no longer exists, Lindrel does have a couple of kids he hasn’t brought to the Inquisition, so Bull initiates a War Table operation to help him contact the kids and bring them over, and the reunion solidifies Bull and Lindrel’s relationship. Plus, his adult kids hang around Skyhold and can be chatted with. Lindrel and his kids join the Chargers. When the Inquisitor goes to the Winter Palace in Trespasser, they can meet other kids Bull and Lindrel adopted.
Lindrel’s romance with Bull doesn’t start if the Inquisitor is in a relationship with Bull. Instead, Bull just befriends Lindrel and suggests he hang out with the Chargers more. After Inquisition, Lindrel and his kids join the Chargers.
7. What would be on their tombstone in the fade (what is their greatest fear)?
Loss.
9. Where in Skyhold would they be found? (e.g. Cole is in the tavern rafters, Leliana in the top of the tower, Varric in the throne room, etc.)
Lindrel moves around. His main locations are reading in the library, working at a forge in the Skyhold basement-ish area, training mages around where the soldiers train if you get the training area, sitting with the Chargers in the tavern, and hanging around in a little glade just outside Skyhold that is inaccessible to the player. The best way to find him would be to find Morial and ask him if he’s seen Lindrel.
10. If Inquisition operated like DA:O, what would their gift items be? What would their approval and disapproval Feast Day items be?
HMMMMMMMMM……. I’m not really sure. He’d like educational/helpful things, like books. He dabbles in blacksmithing (he’ll make his own armor and weapons for fun, but he won’t craft things like that for other people) so he’d accept smithing supplies. I also think he would find it amusing if the Inquisitor gave him interesting foods, as cooking isn’t one of his strengths and everything he makes is boring.
As for disapproval gifts, Lindrel really likes helping people and learning new things, so something that accentuates suffering or stupidity would annoy him. I remember the Feast Day items being funny, so something like ‘The Doll of Eternal Unhappiness’ or ‘The Mages’ Dunce Cap.’
What if instead of mosaics, we had to collect uncrushable pigeons?
14. What nickname does Varric give them?
...I don’t remember ever thinking one up. I went a year into my tag and I didn’t see anything. I think Varric would choose something more serious/respectful for Lindrel, or something super literal. Otherwise, Lindrel would be like Aveline and never really get much of an official nickname. If anything, maybe Keeper? But at the same time, Lindrel probably wouldn’t be too into that being used as a nickname, so he’d probably never have an official Varric term.
17. Where do they hang out in the Winter Palace? What’s their thoughts on the nobles/The Game?
Lindrel hangs out near the buffet table. It’s not right in the middle of all of the action, and he can look at the weird food and wonder why anyone would flavor something with despair, and how they would even manage it. If Bull is brought along, they will talk about the food and Bull will try to get Lindrel to try things. He tries to get Lindrel to try the spicy nut things and Lindrel disapproves.
He has no real opinion of the masks. Lindrel is very observant like Bull, so he can also read all the body language and thus just sees the masks as a bit of Orlesian fashion flair. He isn’t really into The Game, but he understands how it works and can make use of it when he wants to. In general, though, he thinks it’s very dishonest, greedy, and not something he wants to be a part of.
18. What’s their reaction to a dragon showing up?
A calm, practical reaction. Either something observant, like, “She has detected us.” or something cautionary, like, “Shields and wards up.”

the realist is most commonly used to symbolize the highest possible outcome in a dire situation. they are the ones who have everything planned, and hand out reality checks as if they were pamphlets to those who need them--which, quite honestly, is everyone who isn't a realist. although they can be harsh (brutal truth over merciful), they are nurturers and care more than they let on. realists tend to do things that will lead to the best outcome, and use their knowledge of reading people to manipulate situations and problems in order to get out of a rock and a hard place.
