@questiondeson 's EMT 245 restoration (cont'): penultimate step before restoration is complete and unit can be returned to their owners. Replacement of the dodgy CMOS analog switch of the ADC section, which was unadmissibly degrading the frequency response of the reverb above 2 kHz. Now it sounds clear and fine up to 8 kHz (the top of the 245's original frequency response, actually), again 😊 The very last step will be the alignement of the levels of the input and outputs . . Suite de la restauration de l'EMT 245 de Question de Son : avant-dernière étape pour terminer définitivement la restauration avant de rendre la machine à ses propriétaires. Remplacement d'une puce dans le convertisseur A/N (un commutateur analogique CMOS) qui était manifestement en fin de vie, au point de dégrader la réponse en fréquence de la 245 de manière inadmissible.
