Replacement of the two terminal capacitors on the audio chain of the left channel of this @ams_neve DMX1580S from the @questiondeson Studio in Paris. . Those were leaking and made a somewhat loud background noise, rendering this channel almost unusable... 😥 . This is the mandatory serial interface PCB needed for the connection of the EMT 245 S remote control, which not only allows remote modification of reverb parameters, but also includes storage of them into several memory locations... an option that the mainframe alone didn't have as standard. Première inspection de la 245 de Question de Son afin de plannifier sa restauration. Bilan des courses initial : quelques amplis-op grillés (des LF356, tiens comme c'est bizarre... ^^), et ce qui semble être des soucis dans les DRAMs (des MK4116 de Mostek), créant de sacrés repliements au-delà de 3-4kHz, pas très sympathiques...
