@questiondeson 's H3000B finally fixed!!! 😊😊😊 In the end, it turned out to be one of the EPROMs' socket that had invisibly corroded and/or wasn't mechanically making good enough contact... 😢 Anyway, replaced all five of them; also replaced the ageing SRAM (with battery built-in); cleaned the whole thing up, especially the front panel and its LCD display; and finally updated the baby to the H3500B-DFX algorithms and presets, with OS version 2.17.
