based on recent posts you might enjoy the mobile game clusterduck

it involves breeding for weird-looking duck sets, tho different versions within a body part aren't related to each other (ex the reindeer head goes with the reindeer body and wing, but has no familial relationship to the horse duck head)

idk man ive found it satisfying but probably isn't everyone's speed

hi how do you feel about the whale and fish holograms in new kaineng 🐋 the first time i saw them i followed them around the map with my skyscale til they looped in absolute wonder

i've followed that whale 🐋 around on my skyscale so much because i always had this made up gw2 giant sky whale mount that i design in my head just for fun in downtime and i was trying to study if a large enough creature like that could even feasibly navigate maps. granted that thing probably was designed to path nicely around new kaineng and that part of new kaineng was probably at least partially designed to accomodate a huge holographic whale going around it. i dont think it was necessarily educational.. after a while i was just whalewatching

z- how do you feel abt the word/identity "lady", especially as related to your gender identity?

Was this prompted by my URL? Because that’s fair but I’m also not changing it. It’s too good to give up.

I’m still in the process of working out the kinks of my gender identity. I’ve only come to terms with it last month, but I’ll do my best to explain what I’ve figured out so far.

“Lady” is just a more polite word for woman, right? I’ve never had a problem with that, never will. On a personal level, for the most part, I don’t mind being called that or any other feminine term. I’m okay with it at best (like my boyfriend still calls me girl/girlfriend out of habit and that’s alright) and offended at worst. Most masculine terms (”boi” is my personal favourite) are gender-neutral to me at this point; I feel less bothered if people were to use them with me.

Except for the pronouns. I still use she/her.

Thing is, though, despite me identifying as agender and my personal style leaning towards masculine (then again, everything is gender neutral when you don’t give a fuck), to most people, I’m just another girl/woman/lady/lass/what have you. That’s fine, people don’t think twice about how my style represents my identity, but also... ugh. I’d rather if people don’t assume that I subscribe to any gender, but at the same time, I don’t bother correcting people 99% of the time because I don’t want to get roped into explaining myself and what my identity entails. The 1% I’ve already come out to.

TL;DR I’d rather people use the word “lady” with anyone who likes being called that and not me.

ah, if they’re actually based on fivethirtyeight then I guess I would trust them. But in any case the takeaway is: Vote! that’s what you can actually DO to affect the outcome. And if you can, help others vote by giving rides to the polls, or go knock on doors to get out the vote. Remind your friends and family to vote. Just obsessing about it doesn’t actually change anything, and the point of quoting those estimates was to try to quiet the anxious mind and focus on the part that is under one’s own control.
