How have the tools and materials of artists changed over time?

• well there has difinetly been hudge changes with tools and materials over time, especially with how theres traditional art making and digital art making. digital art started to be experienced in the 60s and since then is practically available to anyone.

What impacts do you think commercialism and the media have had on your work? is this good or bad?

• I am fine with commercialism and the media because when you present your artwork online you receive feedback and its your choice if you want to acknowledge it or not. I feel like this depends on the person, but for me I want to promote my artwork online to show others my skills and share with others tips and give feedback.

“What makes something a work of art?”

It depends personal person. To me a work of art can be many things but for others it could be only paintings or only digital art. So I think that it really depends on the person. I don't really like to put or create categories to justify what a piece of art is.

“How does context-where we see and engage with art effect the way we perceive its value?”

I think that it affects the way we feel. For example if I was to look at art during the day I feel a different way by then looking at art at night. Also the place that were the art-piece is can affect the way you look at it. Like if the art was in a sunny area you're gonna look at it in a different way rather than an art piece that is in a dark room.
