Would you mind Drawing one last Chara in Frisks body? I miss the times of female chara, but yeah! Im really happy the comic is gonna end soon, and your frans week arts are amazing!
I actually... did this about a month ago 😆
I was just thinking to myself, "When will be the time to post it here as well, and it won't be too abrupt?" And you gave me a very good reason!
Thank you for your compliments too! Glad you enjoyed it ✨
Can you draw Chara, like being like Frisk personality wise, like good for once. Oh yeah Frisk being the evil Chaotic one.
I did something related to this two years ago. (I don't think it was shared anywhere publicly)
It wasn't a complete personality exchange though, more like the trait swap between expressive/talkative and inexpressive/quiet.
What are your headcanons for Chara and Frisk's nationalities?
If you're asking what country they come from, or which country's culture they originally belong to, I don't really have headcanons for this.
Frisk is Asian (the body's original owner was a victim of human trafficking. There are no other clues about Proto aside from their pitch-black hair and pale skin). Chara is European. The line art illustrations of their "special portrait" from some time ago were implying this.
However, this classification is from a more general ethnic standpoint. Their nationalities (as in countries) are not specified.
Sans would be African American if he were human. But he is never human in my comic.
Everyday checking but no chapters?!? How!?!
Hi. Glad to know that you're so interested in this comic! There's a lot going on in my life and I don't have much time working on the comic pages recently.
That being said, I'm still doing my best to make some progress. Once the newest update is finished, you will see more new pages again.
For now, here have some manuscript of the next update.
Stand-in 156 QA
A:
The pistol that man used was a special weapon known as the SOUL Breaker, specifically designed to neutralize human SOULs.
In this world, human SOULs can persist even after the body’s death. Once a SOUL Breaker strikes its target and the effect is complete, the SOUL will cease to exist in any form—bringing about what they consider a true death.
The small bridge-like component on the top is where the substance is loaded, and the pistol can also be fitted with a night-vision attachment, making it effective in darkness.
Hi, I'm Frans shipper and all but I don't get why (in the early comic scenes) did you draw Chara in "sexy" outfit. This was Frisk's body Chara was using and Frisk's body was 17 back then. And what's with Sans' imagining Frisk? That was very uncomfortable… I firstly thought that I remembered something wrong but I checked and it's there, in the comic.
Hi, thank you for this. It's a fair and important thing to raise.
To give some context: those scenes were written with the intent of showing Chara's reckless and boundary-violating nature. He used Frisk's body in ways Frisk wouldn't consent to, including dressing provocatively, which was meant to reflect Chara's disregard for Frisk as a person.
Sans' uncomfortable imagination in that scene was also intended to be read as something wrong, not something that should be praised (even Sans realized that, and he never came up with that kind of fantasy again)
That being said, I recognize that intent doesn't always translate on the page, and if the execution came across as the comic itself sexualizing a 17-year-old rather than critiquing the situation, that's a failure on my part as a storyteller. I take that seriously.
To avoid the potential controversy in the future, I have taken that part down with the explanation in the original post. Fortunately, removing that part doesn't affect the understanding of the overall story at all.
Thank you for checking back and for bringing it to me directly.
I wonder what the swap version of sand-in would be
I'm...... sorry, but I couldn't help it.
