Marina Bay - #16

Located further below what we know as Dickenson Bay is Marina Bay. Marina Bay is quite a popular spot with an abandoned boat that makes it ideal for photoshoots.

Directions:⁣ They are multiple ways to get to the Marina Bay however I will be providing a route from Ancourage Road. Runaway Beach #10

A very popular spot here in Antigua, Runaway Beach boasts very clear and shallow waters. Perfect for swimming and relaxing on a nice Sunday afternoon...

Or any afternoon for that matter, it’s a pretty wide beach so you’re sure to find your ideal relaxation spot.

Check Pleasure Cove out #2

Looking for clear blue waters? 

Pleasure Cove Resort, situated on Runaway Bay, is known throughout the island for hosting events and parties. However, nestled at its top, is this hidden gem.

Perfect clear calm waters!

Sand Piper Beach #4

This beautiful beach is located at the now-abandoned Sand Piper Reef Resort. Beautiful coconut trees grace the shore but our advice, beware of the dogs on the property nearby! 😅

Pros: 

➡ Calm, shallow water⁣  ➡ Shade is available⁣ ➡ Perfect for picnics⁣ ⁣ 

Cons:⁣

➡ Near private and residential property⁣  ➡ Not so secluded⁣

Jabberwock Beach #8

First up on our Northern Beaches is Jabberwock. Known for being in close proximity to medical university AUA, Jabberwock is now known for the heavy influx of sargassum seaweed. However, if you're lucky like we were, you'll be able to enjoy its beauty and surrounding sights!

Pros: 

➡Peaceful surroundings ➡Beautiful View ➡Close proximity to restaurants and mini-marts ➡Abundant Parking

Cons: 

➡Isn't ideal for swimming because of the influx of sargassum  ➡Occasionally has an odour  ➡Waves tend to be rough and currents strong because it's located on the Atlantic Coast
